Friends of the Crighton family have a daughter, Gheta, that has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor. There is a difficult surgery ahead, which will later involve radiation, but is however a benign tumor. Please pray for Gheta, and her parents, Elizna and Etienne, in the coming weeks that they will continue to be strong and that they would have insurmountable peace. Please also pray for the Crighton family as they support their friends. Thank you for your prayers.
After a number of eye surgeries, Krista is being fitted for contact lenses next week and is praying she can get them in and that her eye will tolerate them. She won't be able to tolerate glasses as they give her double vision worse than what she currently has. It sounds like there's a good chance her vision in her left eye will never be as good as it once was and she thinks she's to expect some level of blurriness from now on. Please continue to pray that God will heal her eye completely and the blurriness will go away.
Mandi is healing quite well after surgery and is required to take it easy till March. She has appreciated all the prayers & help from the church community while healing.
Jesse & Annie Warkentin
Jesse and Annie were recently in the process of adopting their nephew, Kaleb, but their adoption was dismissed and they have lost custody of Kaleb. Please pray for safety for Kaleb, and for his dad (and dad's family), that they would be reasonable in this situation, and would come to know Christ through all of this. They are slowly adjusting to the new normal, though it is still painfully raw. Please check out this GoFundMe opportunity to see how you can support the Warkentin family.
Please continue to pray for our church and the needs among our congregation.
If you have any prayer requests for our Prayer Chain, contact the office, Norma (780-433-3491), or Leslie (780-437-7587).
