A place for gr. 7-12 students to belong!
River West Youth Ministry (RWYM) is an awesome youth ministry passionate about this generation’s calling for the Kingdom of God! We are a mentorship based youth ministry which takes relationships both with Christ, and our community seriously.
Youth ministry takes place every Friday from 7:30-10pm except for Fridays on a statutory long weekend or on a week-long break from school (ie. Fall/Spring Break, Summer Holidays & Christmas Break).
Every month will have an average of 3 Fridays with the first 2 Fridays using the current Bible study format and the last Friday of the month being a fun event.
Leadership
Our Youth Ministry is lead by a great youth volunteer team. They genuinely love youth and love being involved in their journeys! Our Lead Pastor, Timothy Sesink provides oversight, leadership development and event planning.
All youth leaders must pass an interview, receive Safe Place training and must submit a Police Information Check prior to volunteering at RWYM.
