Gathering, formerly known as "Convention", promises an incredible line-up of presenters and interactive seminars and discussions. Our theme, “Built to go!” seeks to reaffirm our identity in Christ as we collectively and individually go into the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ!. With a particular emphasis to a new generation of leaders, gathering aims to be a church resource for ABMB churches. Colossians 3:7 emphasize this truth: “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” (NLT)
We are eagerly anticipating the word of the Lord brought to us by Nasser al’Qahtani, who is providing leadership to the North Africa and the Middle East on behalf of Multiply, our MB Mission agency. Glen Madden (Kelowna) will share with us a biblical and practical strategy for engaging Gen Z and Millennials into church life. We are thrilled to have Ken Esau provide us with an extraordinary Bible class (2 - 90-minute sessions) as he takes us on a journey of the entire Bible in the context of mission (…go into all the world!). For those more adventurous, Trevor Rysavy (church planter, speaker) will take us on a city tour on Saturday to “exegete the culture to reach them with the Good News. Camp Evergreen is leading the Saturday night youth & young adult event, and when they plan stuff…wow!
